This contract supports the SAF/AQ organization, other PEOs as directed, and other Headquarters Air Force organizations where it is in the interest of the SAF/AQ to have an acquisition support presence within that organization. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations.
SAF/AQB - Air Force Scientific Advisory Board is responsible for providing administrative support needed to enable Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) activities to include assisting in editing, publishing, and maintaining SAB reports and briefs, tracking responses/actions from recommendations made by the SAB, processing all documentation for appointments and reappointments and ensuring that SAB activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and directives (FACA, AFI, DoDI, Ethics, etc.).
The tasks for this position include:
a. Monitoring the SABDB SQL database data records for accuracy, modify web application (.ASP) code, generate routine & non-routine reports/queries, and training support staff on web application.
b. Developing artifacts to support annual new membership nomination and approval process.
c. Developing artifacts to support annual study topic nomination process.
d. Updating and maintaining organizational content on the AF Portal and public website, training and resolving content issues and questions.
e. Maintaining organizational content and access control on SharePoint applications, training, and resolving content issues and questions; set-up and maintain organizational file plan
f. Tracking and report on membership participation data.
g. Providing organizational workflow management support, monitoring organizational inboxes, managing organizational workflow tracking tool and providing regular status of organizational workflow at staff meeting.
Active TS/SCI Clearance
BachelorsDegree in a business discipline.
A least 3 years of experience in Federal Government contracting.
