This contract supports the SAF/AQ organization, other PEOs as directed, and other Headquarters Air Force organizations where it is in the interest of the SAF/AQ to have an acquisition support presence within that organization. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations.
SAF/AQB - Air Force Scientific Advisory Board is responsible for providing administrative support needed to enable Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) activities to include assisting in editing, publishing, and maintaining SAB reports and briefs, tracking responses/actions from recommendations made by the SAB, processing all documentation for appointments and reappointments and ensuring that SAB activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and directives (FACA, AFI, DoDI, Ethics, etc.).
The tasks for this position include:
a. Tracking and reporting travel arrangements.
b. Processing and distributing travel orders.
c. Processing travel vouchers in defense travel system. d. Setting-up and maintaining file plan.
e. Engaging SAB members and external stakeholders on travel-related items.
f. Tracking and reporting SAB member’s time worked, travel order status, travel voucher status, meeting and attendee status, etc.
g. Creating, editing, and maintaining MS Access and SharePoint databases.
h. Performing reconciliations between databases.
i. Maintaining records and executing government administrative policies.
Active TS/SCI Clearance
BachelorsDegree in a business discipline and at least 3 years of experience in Federal Government contracting.
Personnel in this position shall be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and SharePoint.
Requires attention to detail, knowledge of the Joint Federal Travel Regulations and Privacy Act regulations.
