    This contract supports the SAF/AQ organization, other PEOs as directed, and other Headquarters Air Force organizations where it is in the interest of the SAF/AQ to have an acquisition support presence within that organization. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations.


    Executive Action Group (SAF/AQE) provides executive support and independent recommendations on key acquisition issues that cut across all SAF/AQ organizations for direct use by the assistant secretary and military deputy. Advises on policy for the assistant secretary on all matters related to direction and management for the Air Force research and development, test, production, and modernization programs. Reviews SAF/AQ correspondence for content. Serves as the SAF/AQ-focal point for Director, Budget and Appropriations Liaison (SAF/FMBL), SAF/LL, and the Air Force posture team. Serves as the SAF/AQ focal point for all four-star-level meetings. Serves as the SAF/AQ focal point for all media inquiries, serving as the primary interface with the Air Force Director of Public Affairs (SAF/PA).Prepares positions and presentations for the assistant secretary and the military deputy in dealing with Congress, senior DoD executives, senior Air Force leadership, and corporate chief executive officers. Provides security, Common Access Cards/badges, computer/network, records management, and postal support to SAF/AQ.


    The tasks for this position include:

    a. The Contractor shall serve as the alternate security professional for SAF/AQ.
    b. Providing consulting services in support of Air Force acquisition security for classified Air Force acquisition programs.
    c. Analyzing and evaluating Air Force acquisition security policies and processes for Air Force classified acquisition programs.
    d. Recommending and designing strategies to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of Air Force acquisition security policy and processes.
    e. Developing acquisition security strategic planning and process improvement reports.
    f. Evaluating government-generated acquisition surveys, assessments, and studies.
    g. Developing and recommending acquisition security procedures and policies.
    h. Reviewing acquisition security related sections of requirements documents, analysis of alternatives, acquisition program documentation, strategy and decision briefings, and technology development strategies for Air Force classified programs.
    i. Supporting HAF Program Protection policy and guidance development.
    j. Serving as the Alternate SAF/AQ Freedom of Information Act Manager and Mandatory Declassification Review Coordinator.
    k. Serving as the record custodian for SAF/AQ.
    l. Serve as a focal point for SAF/AQ Distribution Center.
    m. Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.

    Personnel at the Journeyman level in this position shall have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.


    A total of 5 years of experience.
