    Responsibilities

    This contract supports the SAF/AQ organization, other PEOs as directed, and other Headquarters Air Force organizations where it is in the interest of the SAF/AQ to have an acquisition support presence within that organization. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations.

     

    The Social Media Manager Senior for the Office of the Deputy Asst Secy for Science, Tehnology and Engineering.

     

    The tasks for this position include:

     

    a. Conducting advertising for acquisition workforce recruiting efforts through social media.

    b. Interface with AFPC recruiting, acquisition commands, acquisition functional leaders and functional recruiters, as well as working with AF branding contractor to promote and support civilian recruiting for AF using social media tools.

    c. Advertising Air Force acquisition missions and message through social media to gain interest and attention to civilian hiring opportunities. Engage with potential candidates regarding AF mission and acquisition career opportunities.

    d. Work with Air Force public affairs officers on approval for or reuse of Air Force approved messaging to engage potential civilian hiring candidates to find and entice high quality applicants to work for the AF.

    Qualifications

    Active Secret Clearance.

     

    Personnel at senior level in this position shall have a MA/MS Degree as well as at least 10 years of experience working in advertising or HR recruiting using social media tools.
