Responsibilities

OBXtek is currently staffing for an Acquisition Specialist II with expertise applying knowledge of DoD 5000 series, DAG, applicable OMB circulars, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and supplements, and DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) to support the planning, preparation, and coordination of contract actions on our PLMSS-ITIPS contract at Scott AFB in Illinois.  

 

The qualified candidate for this position will handle these functions:

 

  • Ability to apply working knowledge of the FAR and DoD contracting process to support development of Performance Work Statement (PWS), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Security Documentation (i.e., DD 254), Evaluation Criteria, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Description (DID), and other supporting documentation.
  • Assist the Government with developing and maintaining procedures for receipt of contract deliverables, and review deliverables for technical completeness and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Present plans, recommendations, analyses, and other advice within a broad functional area to customers, site managers, and all employee levels within the project.
  • Prepare studies, plans, and analyses in support of the task order. 

 

Qualifications

Secret Clearance required. 

 

3+ years experience in an aquisition related field.

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
