OBXtek is staffing for a Human Resource File Clerk for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The Office of Human Resources Management (HRM) at Customs and Boarder Patrol, Benefits, Medical, and Worklife Division (BM&W), Retirement and Benefits Advisory Services Branch (RABAS) mission is to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Benefits, Medical, and Worklife Division and employees by providing high-quality services, which meet their administrative, and human resources needs.
The HR Clerk shall:
* Be experienced and familiar with one or more areas of human resources support functions in a federal environment.
* Have knowledge of Retirement and Benefit plan fundamentals.
* Have knowledge in aspects of Federal Human Resource program for functional areas assigned as well as a solid grounding in file organization, disposition/retention policies and maintenance procedures for files.
Bachelor’s Degree OR 1-3 years of experience within Human Resources.
Must have administrative skills relevant to HR operations, including alpha/numeric filing skills and fluently with office equipment as well as ability to use the computer and software comparable with the office.
Must possess strong oral and written communication capabilities.
Familiarity of Retirement and Benefits programs.
Experienced in other long and short term projects with minimal supervision.
Will be required to go through a Public Trust background check.
