    Responsibilities

    Manage large scale 100+ person program consisting of software development, IT infrastructure support, service desk operations, IT security, website development and content management.

     

    Duties:

    • Manage contract task orders to include task execution, resourcing staff across task orders and replenishing funding on task orders. 
    • Accountable for all aspects of management, technical performance, and business/cost management
    • Manage network and system operations environment and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Oversee teams supporting software development, website development, help desk operations, network management, network security, information assurance, video conferencing, and systems engineering.
    • Collaborate with other team members on planning, understand and manage interdependencies between business and projects, and facilitate communications among impacted teams.
    • Work with business and project leads to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, slippages, and other issues. Identify risks and mitigation options.
    • Track and facilitate resolution to issues escalated to the team. Run progress meetings and special working meetings to communicate information, obtain updates on all projects and identify/review/assign/resolve issues. Perform roll-ups of milestone plans and issues lists from multiple teams into a consolidated program plan.
    • Work with reporting teams to ensure adequate level of detail in milestone and issue reporting, surface concerns regarding milestones or issues and work with teams to resolve
    • Create visual representations of Program Plan for reporting to Client and Corporate Management.

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years specialized, progressive experience in program and/or project management
    • Experience running projects/programs in a complex, matrix-oriented environment
    • Experience executing risk, financial, resource and staffing management
    • Experience in resolving issues and scheduling conflicts and solving complex problems
    • Experience in meeting project milestones within funding parameters
    • Excellent listening skills and communication skills include oral, written, and formal presentations
    • Microsoft Office suite skills, including MS Project and PowerPoint

     

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required
