Responsibilities

Portfolio Manager (PfM) is responsible for:

  1. Coordination and submission of three (3) annual financial data calls pertaining to IT spending at AEDC:
    • AEDC Budget Estimate Submission (BES) for all ITIPS registered systems
    • Presidential Budget (PB) for all ITIPS registered systems
    • Spend Plans for all DCIM registered data centers
  2. Supporting the accomplishment of all local tasks associated with the Business Enterprise Activity (BEA).
  3. Completion of all required entries for AEDC systems into the Air Force Information Technology Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS) database. Review, validate, and coordinate all subsequent registration changes.
  4. Completion of all AEDC related PfM data calls and local PfM related Senior Officer Communication and Coordination Electronic Resource (SOCCER) requests. Report to AEDC COR upon completion.
  5. Participate in weekly PfM telecoms and other scheduled telecoms as required.
  6. Support data review and validation, oversee and administer organizational IT portfolio management data collection and submission, and provide supplemental policy and guidance as required.
  7. Update DCIM registered data center information as required.
  8. Provide minimal PfM support to AEDC Geographically Separated Units at Holloman AFB, NM (704th Test Group) and Eglin AFB, FL (McKinley Climatic Lab).

The responsibilities for Portfolio Functional Manager (PfM) are under the direction of AFI 17-110 Air Force Information Technology Portfolio Management and IT Investment Review.

IT Portfolio Managers are responsible for communicating SAF/XC and SAF/AQ guidance and direction to their IT program/project managers, organizational Information System Security Officer (ISSO), financial program/project managers, and others responsible for IT portfolio management data collection and maintenance and partnering with them to collect and manage IT portfolio management data to support Air Force IT portfolio management and other processes.

IT portfolio management encompasses many processes based on executive, legislative, DoD and Air Force requirements.

 

The position reports to the OBXtek Program Manager and may be assigned additional financial or program management assignments.

Qualifications

* Prior experience with financial analysis and reporting

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

* Good communication skills both verbal and written

* Ability to coordinate information gatherings from multiple groups

* Advanced coursework beyond High School in Business or Financial disciplines (BS degree is a plus)

* Secret Clearance must be obtainable.
