    Responsibilities

    OBXtek is currently staffing for a high level Enterprise Architect to work for our US Air Force Cyber contract in the Washington, DC area.

     

    The tasks for this position will include:

      • Providing functional support for the design, structure, and overall performance of an enterprise system or system of systems designed to meet specific requirements.
      • Assisting in the preparation of requirements, design specifications, conceptual approaches and interoperability constraints for systems.
      • Evaluating proposed systems for functionality, interoperability, maintainability, and overall efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Working with design teams to ensure that critical architecture issues are identified early in design process and that interfaces with legacy and new systems are appropriately managed in new systems.
      • Planning and managing work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, substantial adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
      • Independently preparing (or directing others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
      • Developing and applying architectural techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problems, data, or other features of the work, which are broad in scope and complexity.
      • Reviewing, evaluating, and reporting on the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of architectural tasks.

    Qualifications

    Active TS/SCI Clearance.

     

    IAM Level 3 certified (GLSC, CISM, CISSP, or associate)

     

    7+ years of Information Technology experience 

     

    Possess the capability of devising innovative approaches to complex problems.
