    Systems Architect responsible for leading a team of Engineers, Architects, Administrators and Specialists providing daily operational support to the Treasuries Foreign Intelligence Network (TFIN).  The successful candidate will support the client’s platform with production support, system implementation and technical issues. Will ensure mission deliverables are timely and accurate while managing people, time and other resources as required.  Reports to the TFIN Program Manager.  Ensures performance and availability of key applications used by the client.


    The Systems Architect shall provide support in:

    •Preparing status reports as defined by the customer or other government mandates.

    •Assistance in preparation of project operations documentation and methods.

    •Conferring with and advising client business management on administrative policies and procedures, problems, priorities and methods.

    •Support technical leads in ensuring compliance and completion of data required for planned project activities.

    •Update and maintain project schedules and analyze monthly reporting in support of the technical staff to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.

    •Provide assistance to the COR in maintaining contractual compliance including financial data, milestone achievement, and deliverable tracking





    Security Clearance: 

    Must hold a current/active Top Secret Clearance with SCI access

    You must be a US Citizen and all immediate family members and all members of your household must be US Citizens


    - A minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated professional experience in an IT data center management role

    - 5+ years in support of a civilian federal government agency in a TS environment.

    - A minimum of 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

    - Demonstrated understanding of federal government agency policies and procedures for datacenter operations and NIST.

    - Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing at a management level.

    - Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills


    System Architect should have the following Skills:

    • Business Analysis: to support Financial Planning, Financial Tracking and Operations Agreements
    • Experience with ITIL, CMMI and ISO to support both Data Center O & M and Cyber Security support
    • Ability to interact with Federal Government officials to support COR and CO with contractual data as needed
    • Experience in Managing IT in a Classified Environment
    • Systems life cycle support to support IT operations, applications, and their associated tools
    • Managed Help Desk support for customers when needed
    • Ability to manage and direct personnel to accomplish the mission
    • Knowledge and experience Managing a Microsoft Windows 2008 R2/2012 R2 environments including clustering, Group Policies, advanced configuration, anti-virus and anti-malware software, email gateways, NetApp SAN storage, network routing, and PowerShell scripting.
    • Knowledge and experience in an IT Operations environment including Windows 2008 & 2012, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server; Active Directory and LDAP technologies within a Windows environment.
    • The ability to utilize and analyse server monitoring tools for a Windows environment.
    • Experience Managing a Data Center and Security support teams dealing with:
    1. Group policy development and troubleshooting utilizing Microsoft Resultant Set of Policy (RSOP)
    2. VMware ESX
    3. Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
    4. MS System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
    5. MS System Center Operations Manager (SCOM);
    6. Familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) STIGs baseline control and adherence
    • Ability to provide expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and technical specialists on critical Windows software updates and vulnerability issues; recommend mitigation strategies; ensure coordination and collaboration on upgrade activities; and successfully implement hardening of the server infrastructure in appropriate server roles.
    • Experience Managing a MS Windows 2008/2012 Directory Services Infrastructure; security components for MS Windows 2008/2012 Network; implementing MS Windows 2008/2012 Network Infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory DC design, Schema, OU design, AD replication topology, and DC backup/restore procedures; DNS, GPO's, Message tracking and performance.
    • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with management and technical specialists; to plan, organize and manage tasks on time with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to take direction from and work collaboratively with the overall Program Manager and Team Leads


    Preferred Cert:

    • Current MCSE Certification preferred but will consider other current certifications.
