    OBXtek is staffing for a Journeyman Editor/Correspondence Analyst for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the Department of Homeland Security.

    CISA leads the national effort to defend critical infrastructure against the threats of today, while working with partners across all levels of government and in the private sector to secure against the evolving risks of tomorrow. CISA's efforts are focused on comprehensive cyber protection, infrastructure resilience, and emergency communications.


    The Junior Administrative Professional responsibilities include:

    • Writing/editing memos, developing spreadsheets, filing, copying documents.
    • Preparing correspondence, briefs, and reports for review/approval by Government staff.
    • Organizing and maintaining calendars for NPPD’s executive staff.
    • Meeting management, including:
      • Scheduling meetings
      • Scheduling conference rooms
      • Taking meeting minutes/notes and distributing minutes/notes once approved by Government
    • Ensures compliance with current administrative policies and task requirements, ExecSec guidelines, formats, and procedures; drafts responses to written requests; corrects and completes clearance documentation; and utilizes acceptable style, tone, and timeliness.
    • Reviewing/analyzing accuracy of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity of writing for proposed tasker responses.


    Minimum of 1-3 years of experience:

    • Providing high-level administrative support
    • Preparing statistical reports
    • Handling information requests
    • Performing clerical functions
    • Preparing correspondence
    • Receiving visitors
    • Arranging conference calls
    • Scheduling meetings
    • Performing all duties independently
    • Possessing:
      • keen attention to detail
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation to prepare material correctly from a variety of draft sources
      • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
      • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
      • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
      • Exceptional customer service
      • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


    • BA/BS degree
