Responsibilities

OBXtek is currently staffing for a Systems Engineer II for the PLMSS contract at Scott AFB who is experienced providing systems engineering services in support of IT programs and systems.

 

The qualified candidate will be able to handle these tasks:

  • Expertise in providing system technical support and assistance in conducting system fault isolation, and developing recommendations for fixes, workarounds and improvements.
  • May lead or direct other systems engineers.
  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings and leads discussions, offers advice, studies, analysis and evaluations of systems security, hardware, system design to include modeling, simulation and documentation.
  • Prepare software development lifecycle models, providing recommendations for improving IT software and system hardware, as well as software and hardware configurations.
  • Will have the ability to provide analysis and recommendations on defining and capturing metrics, quality assurance, testing, system costs and estimates including software and hardware, and system reliability.

Qualifications

Secret Clearance required.

 

3+ years' experience in field.

 

Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent

 

Possesses appropriate DOD 8570.1-m certifications.
