OBXtek is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers district offices to keep help desk positions staffed across the United States. These jobs open up frequently, so we are always looking for candidates who are interested in making a change and are qualified for the jobs!

Sr. or SME Computer User Support Specialist:

  • Deliver 24/7/365 IT technical support to approved seat service USACE end users at 1650 different CONUS and OCONUS locations and sites to ensure proper configuration, installation, and maintenance of data input/output devices to include 40,000 laptops/tablets/workstations, 13,000 mobile devices, 32,000 VOIP devices, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, cabling, external data storage devices, and network interface devices.
  • Qualifications: 4 years’ experience in help desk, no education requirement, Secret clearance

Journeyman Computer Systems Analyst

  • Answering queries and resolving first and second level technical issues for local and remote users through various channels such as telephone, chat, email, and tickets submitted online. 
  • Adheres to all company and department policies and procedures. 
  • Responds to escalated tickets from tier 1 staff, diagnosing, identifying, isolating, and resolving problems with hardware, software, network, and system/applications utilizing technical skills, historical database records, and knowledgebase documentation.
  • Qualifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level 1, 5+ years technical support in a call center, Secret Clearance

PC Technician, Senior

  • Provide Tier 2 support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma, 3+ years technical support in a call center, DoD 8570 IAT Level 1, or ability to gain certification within 6 months of hire, Secret Clearance

District Systems Administrator

  • Possess the leadership, experience, and technical skills necessary to make decisions that ensure the highest level of guaranteed service.
  • Up to 25% travel.
  • Qualifications: BA/BS degree (or an additional 8 year’s substitution for degree), 3+ years IT technical support, DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Example: Sec+ CE)

 

The positions are all over the United States at the COE District Offices.
