Responsibilities

OBXtek is staffing for a Software Engineer (Journeyman) for the Army TENCAP SETA  program supporting the Product Manager TENCAP (PdM TENCAP). PdM TENCAP falls under Program Executive Office – Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) and chartered with the responsibility of executing the Army’s TENCAP program. Army TENCAP's mission is to enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence National capabilities and architectures. Army TENCAP conducts advanced development and rapid prototyping to enhance, inform, and modernize Army capabilities.

 

Member of the contract engineering team. Provide its technical expertise and advice to PdM TENCAP in managing the full lifecycle of software engineering for TENCAP projects including: requirements development and management, technology selection (including make/buy decisions), software development, integration, test, documentation and support. The contractor shall also assess and analyze customized software and hardware development and hardware requirement

Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) security clearance.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressively complex experience in software design, development, integration, and testing for DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) systems. Experience shall include a minimum of eight years in a software engineering position working on DoD programs/projects. Experience shall include a minimum of five years in a software engineering management position leading a technical team working on DoD or IC programs/projects.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science
  • Recommended: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP).
