OBXtek is supporting the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, the MIlitary Communication and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (MilComm & PNT) Directorate (SSC/CG) with a broad range of financial management capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition activities.
This opening is for a Senior Budget Analyst, who will provide a broad range of financial management, in particular assisting with Government budget integration, for the Space Systems Command. This includes all aspects of Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution and Commitment/Obligation/Expenditure Reconciliation; Execution and Audit Readiness; and Budget Authority Management, Qualified personnel will provide subject matter expertise and support for budgets, foreign military sales funding, other foreign Government funding, and International Partner Agreements, as well as assist with the timely and accurate analysis, forecast and reporting of commitment, obligation, and expenditure data. This position requires management support across all aspects of task order management including input and support of all management plans, project status reporting, management reviews and continuous improvement recommendations.
Candidate resumes should demonstrate experience with collecting, normalizing, and inputting data, cost modeling, performing in-depth research, reconciling complex data/information across multiple systems and reports, utilization of complex software in the development of analytical models, interpreting results to generate multiple recommended courses of action, comprehending and applying concepts/guidance, successful implementation of instructions/policies into routine performance, and developing tools/applications to foster efficiency in day-to-day activities.
This position is hybrid and candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo 1 day a week.
