OBXtek is currently looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer for the Department of Justice, National Security Division to manage IT Security Program involving services to include security control assessments, continuous monitoring, security information and event management, security architecture, security engineering, ISSO support, POA&Ms, security operations monitoring, cyber hunt, penetration testing, cyber threat intelligence analysis, incident response, and forensics, cloud security, and cybersecurity training.
Duties:
The Principal Cybersecurity Engineer will lead the technical efforts to ensure the secure and compliant operation of NSD systems, networks, and enclaves. This role includes developing and implementing system security plans, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices3. The Principal Cybersecurity Engineer will also be responsible for delivering Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Authorization to Test (ATT) packages, as well as maintaining continuous monitoring for systems under ongoing authorization
