OBXtek is currently looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for the Department of Justice, National Security Division to manage information assurance activities involving services to include security control assessments, continuous monitoring, security information and event management, security architecture, security engineering, ISSO support, POA&Ms, security operations monitoring, cyber hunt, penetration testing, cyber threat intelligence analysis, incident response, and forensics, cloud security, and cybersecurity training.
Duties:
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will provide actionable risk and vulnerability information to stakeholders. This role includes delivering Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) risk reports, Security and Privacy Assessment Plans (SAP), independent assessments of controls, vulnerability and incident reports, compliance reports, risk reports, Security Impact Analyses (SIA), and other analysis-related documentation. The engineer will also be responsible for providing dashboards for NSD cybersecurity tools and updating DOJ Core controls.
