This position provides supports the Chairman’s Exercise Program Division (CEPD), which serves as the focal point for interagency coordination in support of J7-sponsored exercises, experimentation, concept development, and wargaming. CEPD conducts command post exercises (CPXs), Senior Leader Forums (SLF) and other training events, focused on joint doctrine, policies, procedures, systems, and training to ensure effective strategic direction and integration of US, coalition military forces, the interagency (IA), and civilian mission partners worldwide as well as to meet the readiness and operational needs of the Joint Staff. Plans and coordinates DOD participation in the NATO Crisis Management Exercise (CMX), partnership engagements, and conducts routine workshops and conferences to enhance partner engagement. Position is contingent upon contract award. CEPD plans and conducts the POSITIVE RESPONSE (PR) Exercise, coordinates Joint Staff simulation support to up to ten additional CCMD exercises, participates in up to two Globally Integrated Exercise (GIEs), plans and conducts up to six non-Positive Response Joint Staff exercises, coordinates interorganizational partner participation in up to two hundred DoD readiness training and exercise events, coordinates DoD engagement in up to ten National Exercise program (NEP) exercises, coordinates DoD engagement in up to four interorganizational partner-sponsored exercises, coordinates DoD involvement in the National Level Exercise (NLE), coordinates USG involvement in the NATO CMX, coordinate DoD involvement in up to six Principal level Exercises (PLEs) and Senior Level Exercises (SLEs), coordinates up to two Interorganizational Tabletop Exercises (ITX), coordinates JS and IA participation in up to three J7-hosted senior leader forums (SLFs), and up to two additional CJCS directed events.
